Resurrection Symbols by Sojourn Arts

Easter 2018

Throughout the history of the church, painters have used symbols from Creation to point to and reference the resurrection. Butterflies are known for emerging in their new bodies after chrysalis. Easter lilies, daffodils, swallows, and song birds are all signs of life returning to our region after winter. These symbols found in Creation can remind us of the new life found in Christ.

This project was completed by Sojourn Midtown attenders Jan Burke, Sarah Hall, Carrie Hardaway, Bethany Kenny, Ryan Land, Jordan Lienhoop, Joshua Nicholson, Katie Petry, Kayla Phillips, Jeremy Richthofen, Paige Stettler, and Michael Winters.
