"We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time." - Romans 8:22
“You will go out in joy
and be led forth in peace;
the mountains and hills
will burst into song before you,
and all the trees of the field
will clap their hands.”— Isaiah 55:12
Trees are the perennial metaphor. Trees are used to symbolize human suffering and joy. The three artists in this exhibit have been inspired by trees in various ways.
