For our next book discussion, we are reading the collection of short stories A Good Man is Hard to Find by Southern writer Flannery O'Connor. This work of literature lines up with our gallery exhibit A Deeper South, a collection of writings and photography that documents a journey into deeper understanding, and even at times a relearning, of the South’s history by Pete Candler.
Our discussion will consider the whole collection, but focus primarily on:
”A Good Man is Hard to Find”
“The River”
”The Life You Save May Be Your Own”
”Good Country People”
